Motorcycle Accident Possibly Caused by Mechanical Problem
While police originally thought that excessive speed was to blame for the death of a motorcyclist last week in San Antonio, Texas, they now suspect that a mechanical problem might have led to the motorcycle accident.
Officers with the San Antonio police department are still investigating the collision that took the life of a 43-year-old male last Wednesday. Based on their initial investigation, they determined that the man was heading east on I-10 when he was hit by two cars. Although he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, he lost his life after he was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Since officers are still attempting to contact the victim's family, his identity has not been made public.
