SUV and 18 Wheeler Collide in San Antonio
Tragedy struck in San Antonio, Texas last weekend when a SUV collided with an 18-wheeler, causing a fiery truck accident that took the life of one driver.
While police rushed to the scene of the accident, witnesses to the accident ran out of their own cars to pull the family from the wreckage. Inside the SUV were three adults and three children, all of which were pulled out by emergency crews and good Samaritans.
According to reports, the SUV driver, who was the mother of the children, was the only person to die as a result of the incident. Another passenger, a teen, received a minor neck injury that was treated at a local hospital.
Officers say that the truck driver was shocked that the accident happened at all. They are still working to determine what exactly transpired to cause the crash.
