Bystander Loses Life during Truck Accident
An innocent bystander of a truck accident lost her life last week in San Antonio, Texas. The woman was sitting at a bus stop when the truck ran through the red light and caused a multi-vehicle pileup.
According to the police report, the truck was driven by a 48-year-old man. He did try to stop in time for the red light but did not give himself enough time. As a result, he ran into the back of another vehicle, pushing it forward into the woman sitting on the bench. The 34-year-old victim was pinned underneath the truck and dragged nearly ten feet before the vehicle came to a stop.
The victim's identity is not being released to the public at this time. It is known that she was pronounced dead at the scene of the truck accident. The driver that caused the accident was charged with driving without insurance as well as an operator's license.
