A San Antonio man faces serious charges for failing to obey basic traffic laws. News sources reveal that the 45-year-old truck driver struck and killed a woman waiting for the bus last week.

According to the police report, the suspect drove through a red light and struck a smaller vehicle. He then kept going and drove into the woman who had no time to jump out of the way. While the man was only charged with driving without a license at the time, he now faces more serious charges since the woman lost her life.

The victim, a 34-year-old woman, was declared dead at the scene. Based on the investigation conducted by the responding officers, the blame is being placed completely on the older man. Police are not releasing the identity of the victim nor the suspect at this time.
