Drunk Driver Pleads Guilty for Role in Accident
Last February, a woman decided to drive drunk and, as a result, took the life of another person.
The woman appeared in court last week to enter her plea of guilty to the charges against her. Police reports show that the woman drove the wrong way down a residential street while impaired and hit another car. Unfortunately, the 54-year-old driver of the second vehicle lost her life, but there were several teens in the car that were spared theirs.
At this time, the defendant has already rejected all plea agreements, leaving her fate in the hands of the jury and the judge. The woman will return to court in November for her sentencing which is expected to be harsh yet fair.
