Several Injured While Police Pursued Big Rig
A police chase left several people injured last week in San Antonio, Texas and the man responsible for ultimately causing the accident was named by police shortly after. The suspect, 42-year-old L.D.J. Jr., had stolen an 18-wheeler and was attempting to drive it out of the city. However, police caught onto him quickly and started a pursuit. One of the officers who responded to the call was 24-year-old E.P. who never made it to the chase because she was involved in an accident that left one woman injured and her mother in critical condition. L.V., the 41-year-old victim, suffered a broken neck and vertebrae.
While police investigate the truck accident, the daughter of the critically-injured victim wants the city of San Antonio to be held responsible for the incident. She claims that it could have been avoided if the police officer had not been speeding around town trying to catch the thief of the big rig. Were you hurt during a serious truck accident? If so,
