A woman leaving a grocery store last week in San Antonio, Texas never made it home. She was struck and killed by a small passenger car just a few feet from the store.

According to the police report, the woman was on her way to her car when the accident happened. She was pushing a grocery cart and out of nowhere the driver struck her with his small vehicle. Although EMTs rushed the woman to a nearby hospital, she died while in emergency surgery.

At this time, police have not charged the driver. Their initial investigation shows that she was not crossing in a pedestrian walkway or at an intersection.
